Soap Box Derby
Hubbard Park in Meriden - starts at 8amOctober 24 and 25, 2005
Once a premier event in Meriden, the Lions Club has been instrumental in bringing this event back to our city. Come watch these youngsters from all over New England race their cars in an exciting all day event! The winners of each class move on to the nationals in Akron, Ohio.
This year's event also featured cars from the Wallingford Hot Rod club for your viewing pleasure.
Stop by the Lions Club food tent for a delicious hot dog or hamburger.
